SANJU…
Wow! What a Movie! Two Thumbs-Up! Must Watch
Sanju is the biopic of bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, son of the famous actor/politician Sunil Dutt and actress Nargis and is directed by Rajkumar Hirani who has given us some major hits in the past like 3 Idiots, Munnabhai M.B.B.S and PK.
Sanju is the story of Sanjay Dutt’s controversial life, relationship with his family especially his dad and his best friend Kamli who was always there for him. The movie highlights the major issues like drugs and alcohol addiction and terrorism which molded his life.
If you are someone who has grown-up watching Sanjay Dutts’s movies or has ever read the controversial news about him, this movie will have a different impact on you than someone who has never ever heard of him. Either way, you will really enjoy it as there are many heartfelt moments throughout.
Every actor has done an amazing job like Paresh Rawal, Anuska Sharma, Vicky Kausal, Manisha Koirala,Dia Mirza but the real star of the movie is Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing Sanjay Dutt.
From the get-up to acting to dialogue delivery, Ranbir is flawless. He has done such a superb job that throughout the movie you have to tell yourself that it is Ranbir Kapoor and not Sanjay Dutt himself.
It did take me a few scenes to get used to Paresh Rawal playing Sunil Dutt as both of them have strong personalities but a little time into the movie I completely forget that difference too.
Sanju shines light on the father-son relationship and the many life lessons which lie in it’s fold.
How it is not easy to be the child of a famous celebrity
How friends make or break you.
For a brief moment, I felt that this movie is a homage to his father Sunil Dutt.
Watch this movie from the actor’s point of view. While the whole world enjoys the news and the gossips what truly goes on in their lives. One thing for sure you are in for a rollercoaster ride of emotions wherein one minute you will be laughing your heart out and the next you will be bawling your eyes out so don’t miss it.
