Ground chicken is a healthier alternative to ground beef. A lot of people do not like it since its less flavorful as compared to beef. But I assure you, \u00a0if you make it my way it will be a weekly dish in your house too. Since it has less fat and fewer calories you can have a bigger portion too. I sneak in veggies too so it makes it more nutritious.<\/p>\n

3 tbsp. olive oil<\/pre>\n
1 small onion-chopped<\/pre>\n
4 cloves garlic (more if you want real garlicky taste)<\/pre>\n
Coin sized ginger<\/pre>\n
1\u00a0small bell pepper<\/pre>\n
1 small tomato chopped<\/pre>\n
1\/2 tsp Chilli<\/a> \u00a0Powder<\/pre>\n
1\/2 tsp Cumin<\/a> Seeds<\/pre>\n
1\/2 tsp Coriander<\/a> Powder<\/pre>\n
1\/4 tsp fenugreek <\/a>powder<\/pre>\n
1 \/4 tsp turmeric<\/a><\/pre>\n
Salt<\/a> to taste<\/pre>\n
3-4 cloves<\/pre>\n
1 small piece of cinnamon<\/pre>\n
Recipe:<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/pre>\n
-In a large skillet saute the onions in olive oil until light gold.<\/pre>\n
-Add ginger and garlic and stir for another minute.<\/pre>\n
-Meanwhile make a puree of the bellpepper.<\/pre>\n
-Add the puree to the skillet along with the spices and cook for another minute or so.<\/pre>\n
-Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking the lumps with a spoon.<\/pre>\n
-Stir fry till the chicken changes color then add tomatoes<\/pre>\n
-Turn down the heat and simmer for\u00a05-7 minutes partially\u00a0covered.<\/pre>\n
-Open the lid\u00a0and\u00a0stir the chicken\u00a0and you will see the oil has separated from the chicken which means it is done<\/pre>\n
-Garnish with cilantro and\u00a0serrano chillies and dish out.\n\n<\/pre>\n\n
*With roti\/ naan or with plain basmati rice<\/pre>\n
*Make chicken tacos\/burritos<\/pre>\n
*Make chicken puff pastry<\/pre>\n
